Purple Room is our room for 18 months - 24 months. The babies are now walking independently and are more confident in their movement. The room has more space for the children to explore their new mobility, and there is a home corner, which avails the children of a home from home experience. The home corner allows them to create and act out their own stories using their own experiences from their home life. This area can also help them develop their social, communication and language skills. Purple room utilises a dedicated area for nappy changing. This room is next to the undercover garden area, which children from Purple use safely, and away from the older children.
